Faux denim from Old Navy + Lauren Conrad 'Celebrate' book signing

This past weekend, I had the awesome opportunity to attend the Barnes and Noble Dallas book signing event for Lauren Conrad's new book 'Celebrate' . Due to the ever changing, multiple personality Dallas weather, I was prepared to wear something that would keep me warm in the cool 60 degree weather, but not sweat to death if the temp increased all of a sudden. This faux denim romper from Old Navy did the trick. Paired with my consignment Balenciaga and Ann Taylor D'Orsay flats, I was bookstore fabulous!

Although I thought I was the bees knees, it as actually my 5-month daughter that stole the show LOL All smiles and toothless gums, Riley cooed her way into the hearts of police officers standing guard, B&N employees and of course, the gorgeous LC.  

Upon LC, I congratulated her on remaining true to herself and not getting caught up in any Hollywood foolishness. She really has remained the LC we've known and loved from hit series 'The Hills', hasn't she?

Event was a smash and I didn't sweat to death OR get frozen out. All in all, I was honored to spend a few dollars supporting a longtime best-friend-in-my-head and fellow fem-preneur.
